Over the last twenty years or so external walls have lost their basic simplicity and have become highy complex elements requiring careful thought in their design. This has largely been due to the requirement to build insulation into the ‘sandwich’ to reduce energy demands.
At the same time the choice of finishes available to architects has greatly expanded and has only been matched by the architect’s willingness to use them.
THERMALEXTM recognises the need to provide a sound, continuous construction background which can be used with virtually any finish, thus removing problems when cladding materials meet.
